Privacy Policy

What Vericonomy Wallet stores on your device, which servers it contacts, and how optional push notifications work.

Last updated: June 2026

Vericonomy Wallet is a non-custodial light wallet for Verium (VRM) and Vericoin (VRC). Your keys and transaction history stay on your device. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Data stored on your device

The app stores locally:

  • Encrypted wallet files and derived addresses
  • Your wallet passphrase (only if you enable Face ID / Touch ID unlock, stored in the iOS Keychain with biometric access control)
  • Theme, notification, and address-book preferences
  • Cached balances and transaction history from Electrum sync

Network connections

When you use the app it may contact:

ServicePurpose
Vericonomy Electrum servers (vrm3.vericonomy.com, vrc3.vericonomy.com)Balance sync and transaction broadcast
Vericonomy Explorer APIsBlock, transaction, and address details
push.vericonomy.com (optional)Register your APNs device token and receive-address hashes for lock-screen receive alerts

Optional push notifications

If you enable notifications and remote push is configured in the build:

Apple provides an APNs device token to the app. While your wallet is unlocked, the app may register that token plus scripthashes of your receive addresses with push.vericonomy.com.

The push service uses this information only to notify you of incoming funds. It does not receive your private keys or passphrase.

You can disable notifications in iOS Settings or in the app’s Settings tab.

Camera and Face ID

  • Camera — used only when you choose to scan a payment QR code on the Send screen.
  • Face ID / Touch ID — used only when you enable biometric unlock.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13.
